Smells oily and a little burnt and acrid, with fleshy flavors of banana, melon and bitter pith. Has some verve but mostly it's an average wine with some bitterness and dry orange peel and pith. Decent but offers nothing beyond. || Grapefruit, melon, lime and match stick aromas give this Rueda a solid opening. The palate is fruity and a bit green and phenolic, with flavors of green melon, grass, cucumber and tangerine pith.
