Dark and young, it impresses for sheer power. In its youth, it's packed with precocious aromas and flavors of sappy blackberry jam framed in oak, and with a hefty dose of tannins. This young, juicy wine needs time to soften and collect itself, but if the lengthy, elaborate finish is any indication, it will age just fine. Editors' Choice.
