Aged 30 months in large oak casks, Amarone Podere Cariano is a sweet, sticky wine with maple syrup and honey backed by Indian spice and waxy aromas of antique furniture. The intensity and darkness are impressive, but ultimately this wine would pair best with sharply aged cheese.
