Few wines are as ripe and fruity as this. It's explosive in raspberry jam and cherry pie flavors, with scads of dusty pie spices, and the smooth tannins make it silky in the mouth. The problem is excessive sweetness. If you like a sugary, glyceriney edge to your red wines, it's for you.
