This 100% Petit Verdot introduces itself with rich, extracted fruit, in the way of blackberry and blueberry jam and sweet red currants. Juicy fruit and ample doses of new French oak lend a spicy sweetness, yet the finish is thoroughly dry. With big, hard tannins, it's a wine to cellar for three or four years, but not much longer.
