Taking advantage of recent warm vintages, Boizel has joined other producers in taking its range drier. This extra brut is full of crisp apple and lemon flavors. It is dry, although the acidity is balanced by the ripe fruitiness and mineral aftertaste. Drink this bottling (disgorged January 2016) from 2018. || Like so many bone-dry Champagnes, this wine needs some bottle aging to soften the brutal acidity.
