Named after the officials of the French Court who were responsible for the King's cellar, this intense wine is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With some age it is much about secondary flavors as fruit. Spice and yeast come together with textured apple and creamed pear. The wine is on the dry side of Brut, the ripe fruit adding richness. Drink this balanced wine now.
