A big, extracted and, as currently constructed, somewhat ponderous wine that's not showing all that well. Could simply be immature, but it does seem to lack a certain vibrancy. Other than that, it's powerful in blackberry, black cherry and oak flavors, accompanied by strong tannins. Could surprise after, say, 2014. || Made in a forward, approachable style, this Cab has succulent flavors of red currants, cherry liqueur, plums, chocolate and a hint of savory wintergreen.
