The most likeable aspect of this wine is how faithfully it mirrors the land it comes from. In the spring, Sicily is blanketed with wild fennel and if you pay close attention you'll smell it on the nose of this Nero d'Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend. That dill-herbal touch translates over to the mouth with pine and resin flavors; there's both the softness of the Merlot and the muscle of the Cabernet. Imported by Vin Divino.
