A sharp, acidic, tight, precisely-defined Syrah with cranberry and sour cherry fruit. This wine has the potential for years of aging; even after being open for many hours, the sharp acids and primary fruit flavors remained, along with inviting suggestions of soy and composted earth. If you are not going to cellar it, decanting is mandatory.
