A stunning Syrah, with a bit of Petite Sirah that seems to provide darkness, tannins and structure. Marked with black pepper aromas, it's extraordinarily rich in blackberry, blueberry and mocha flavors, with a mushroomy earthiness and sweet smoky oak influences. Full-bodied and dense now, it wants at least 3–5 years to come around.
