Aromas of toast, underbrush and a hint of chocolate covered-cherry lead the nose. The firm palate offers dried black cherry, a hint of star anise and a green note of powdered sage alongside nervous acidity. Tightly packed, bracing tannins leave a tongue-drying finish.
