This Sangiovese offers a pretty ruby color with thickly saturated color and segues into pretty aromas of spice, wood, red cherry and Asian spice. It has a wide, broad approach and very far-reaching intensity. But it also has many burnt wood nuances that boarder on being too heavy, especially considering the wine's delicate core of red fruit.
