Despite the high price and small quantity (125 cases total), this wine is not performing at an optimal level. The nose, based on 32 months in oak, is drying and minty, with more dill and leather than fruit. The palate, meanwhile, is sharp and elevated by acidity, while the flavors are of tart fruit, tobacco and vanilla.
