Aromas of ripe plum, sunbaked earth and toast lead the way on this structured red. The palate offers dried black cherry, ground pepper and toasted oak while dusty tannins give it a firm, slightly astringent finish. || Cembali is usually a spot on expression of Nero d'Avola, one of Sicily's best and most elaborate, but the 2005 vintage definitely seems on the overripe, alcoholic and jammy side.
