On the dusty, earthy side of the Rhône spectrum, with hints of cordite accenting cherry fruit. It's undeniably fresh and vibrant, just lacks some of the richness characteristic of the 2007 vintage. || Starts with raspberry and cherry aromas and a dusty, earthy note that adds complexity and character. You can sense the warmth of the vintage in the glass, with slightly raisined notes that come through on the palate alongside the supple tannins. Drink it over the next few years.
