Winemaker Rick Hill extracts tons of aroma and flavor from this vineyard, which in this bottling shows sagebrush, deep black plum, smoked thyme and light gingerbread notes. The flavors are hearty and rugged, with more sagebrush and smoke, strong mulberrry fruit, peppercorns and roasted meats. It's a rich and savory wine.
