This reserve-level wine is meant to represent the best barrels of the vintage, coming from grapes grown on both the Schug Estate and Wildcat Vineyard, which makes up the majority at 80%. Austere on the nose, it offers chiseled acid as well as apricot, pear and a touch of mango. Complex and lengthy, it should become more interesting as the baby fat sheds.
