The nose is initially shy but eventually reveals blue flower, toast and a hint of baking spice while the easy-drinking palate offers juicy wild cherry, white pepper and a note of grilled herb. It's soft and easy drinking, with polished tannins. || This opens with aromas of toasted oak, fennel, roasted coffee bean and a whiff of sage. The extracted palate offers ripe black plum, dark chocolate, espresso and grilled herb alongside tightly packed tannins. Drink sooner rather than later to capture the remaining fruit.
