For an aged, value-priced Cabernet, this is steps ahead of the competition. The nose on this ready-to-go wine is earthy and deep, with cherry and raisin notes. The palate is rich, solidly built and full of cherry, cassis and tobacco flavors. On the finish, it's compact and sturdy, with herbal berry flavors.
