Rich notes of black currant, black cherries, pressed violets and a shred of tar show on the nose of this wine by Steve Martell of Sextant. The small-batch blend of 83% Syrah, 13% Grenache and 4% Mourvèdre mixes concentrated berries with dark chocolate, espresso beans, peppercorns and crushed herbs on the palate.
