A nice Zin made in Mazzocco's bold, ripe style, and since it's as good as their more expensive Zins, a comparative value. Shows massive flavors of blackberries, cherries, currants, licorice and cola, leading to a dry, somewhat hot finish. || This Zinfandel tastes and feels hot and Port-like. While some people enjoy this style, it feels a bit clumsy and overripe.
