Very deep, lush and welcoming in the nose—there’s an unmistakable heavy color and look to it. It’s a ripe and ready wine that should pick up complexity with bottle age. Yes, there’s a one-dimensionality to it because it’s a single-clone wine, but you should really enjoy the cherry and plum sweetness at its core.
