Sort of scratchy and generic on the nose, with reasonably fresh red fruit aromas. The mouthfeel is angular and clipped by piercing acidity, while the flavors are of nice but regular black cherry and plum. Fairly juicy and fresh as a whole. || Red fruit aromas are matched by mild wood spice and rubber in front of a crisp, solid palate that's tasting spicy, peppery and dry, with red fruit flavors taking over after the spice subsides.
