From an inland appellation cooled by winds from distant San Francisco Bay. It still gets pretty hot in these parts, and the wine is simple, although it's got some pretty peach and pineapple fruit. Yet it's clean and dry, with a touch of oak, as the name implies. And it's not a bad value.
