Aromas of spiced plum and chopped mint lead the nose and carry over to the brawny, one-dimensional palate along with vanilla, toast, coffee and liquor-soaked cherry. Dusty tannins dry out the finish while the heat of searing alcohol that throws it off balance. Drink sooner rather than later.
