This opens with aromas of French oak, toast, vanilla and baked plum. The robust, concentrated palate offers espresso, licorice, oak and dried black cherry alongside close-grained tannins. You'll also notice the heat of scorching alcohol that imparts a monolithic quality. Drink through 2019.
