From the lightly nutty almond-skin aroma, to the creamy palate and savory finish, it's apparent that the winemaker enjoys experimenting with lees contact to help broaden the midpalate. While this application might seem a little aggressive to some, there's a lovely balance of juicy red apple and streamlined, focused quince to appeal to a broader audience.
