It's pronounced tung-GEE and was formerly known as Chehalem Mountain vineyards. As is often the case with this AVA, it has substantial tannins and a firm, compact structure that bodes well for cellaring. The fruit mixes cherry, pomegranate and hints of banana, while the barrel flavors add some toast and butter.
