Strong and ripe with Zinny flavor— intense wild berry and cherry fruit as well as a briary, brambly mouthfeel. High alcohol gives it a glycerine richness. || Starts off dry and fairly tannic, with robust flavors of dried cherries, blackberry skin, coffee and black pepper, then finishes tart and sandpapery dry. For all that, there's elegance and good structure. Grilled pepper steak seems an ideal match. || So sugary sweet, it's basically a dessert wine, and a nice one, at that.
