This Amarone has aromas of ripe fruit and evident oak. On the palate, it's a bit lumbering, with mature plum, toasted oak, espresso and chocolate notes. Drink now and over the next few years. || This dark Amarone is savory and spicy, with rosemary, forest floor and bramble notes. Fresh fruit and dark cherry aromas make for a nice balance, but overall it demonstrates an elegant, herbal side. The tannic structure is fine and firm, and there's enough crisp acidity to carry this wine for 10 years or more.
