Cadenzia is the term coined by McLaren Vale producers to describe their proprietary blends; this one is roughly equal proportions of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvèdre and Tempranillo. The result is a dark-fruited wine laden with hints of cola, cedar and spice. Moderately firm in structure, with a long, slightly dusty finish; try 2012–2020.
