Falanghina and Greco di Tufo comprise the mix in this wine. It comes from Molise, an area described by some as the appendix of the Abruzzi. The medium-gold color of this '99 makes me think that something went awry here. This is confirmed by the predominantly caramel flavors and the mouthwatering acid levels.
