What a nice wine. Garnet-colored; perfumed with violet, meat, black pepper and cherry aromas. Tannins are wooly and textured, and the palate offers up a sturdy black cherry shell with molten bittersweet chocolate inside. Dry and woody on the finish. Imported by USA Wine West. || From Mornington Peninsula, just south of Melbourne, comes a Pinot with pretty violet, earth and meringue aromas.
