The slightest minty lift is perceptible on the nose, hovering above black cherry. The palate shows tightly packed, dense, ripe but fresh fruit, as crunchy and juicy as ripe but tart cherries. There is something masculine in the muscular but fine structure. Tautness suggests that this will benefit from mellowing bottle age. Drink from 2017 through 2025.
