This is a very sweet Viognier, with lots of honey, brown sugar, vanilla and cream flavors. It's rich and unctuous, but the orange and peach flavors could be a little more concentrated. || Despite the California appellation, the grapes were grown in the Ojai region of Santa Barbara County. It's a dry, tannic wine whose ripe blackberry, mocha and oak flavors are balanced with rich earthiness. Could develop bottle complexity over the next six years.
