The wine has some weight, dominated by dry tannins and a dark edge of black currants. For a 2005, it is surprisingly light, but the elements of ripe fruit and balancing acidity are there, even if the tannins and wood still dominate. || A thin wine, with tight stalkiness and smoky, dry tannin flavors.
