Aromas of toast, scorched earth, espresso and grilled herb come together on this structured Barbaresco. The palate is still young and a bit shy but eventually reveals dark cherry, white pepper, sage and tobacco accompanied by packed tannins that need to unwind. A licorice note signals the close.
