Babcock continues to be challenged with ripeness in their Cabs. This '06 has weedy, mint and Tabasco flavors alongside the oak-inspired currants. Drink now. || Sharp and rustic compared to Napa and Sonoma Cabs, with green, minty tannins. There's a lot of oak, and some ripe cherry-blackberry fruit, but work remains to be done on the tannins.
