This red wine might just make you purr with satisfaction. It delivers everything you want in a Merlot. It's dry, but soft, with plush tannins and rich flavors ranging from red cherries and currants to cocoa, violets and cedar. || This has been an inconsistent Merlot over the years, but the '07 is a good one, at a fair price. Must be the vintage. It's dry and rich in black cherry, red plum and spice flavors, sweetened by smoky, caramelized oak. Easy to drink now. || Ballentine continues to struggle with this bottlin…
