Soft and mellow at three-plus years, this pleasant Zinfandel has sweet, jammy raspberry and cherry flavors, sprinkled with pepper, cinnamon and clove. It's a nice wine to drink now with steaks, roasts, barbecue. || A big, bold Zin, with a kick of peppery spices. Really front-loaded with wild berry, currant, cherry pie and sweet tobacco flavors. Nothing subtle about this barbecue-friendly powerhouse.
