Taurasi is one of the great red wines of Italy (sometimes dubbed “the Barolo of the South”), and this expression delivers amazing intensity both in terms of its bouquet and mouthfeel. Its aromas include ripe, chewy blackberry, pipe tobacco, toasted espresso and crushed granite. The mouthfeel is plush, rich and firmly textured, with polished tannins and a smoky aftertaste.
