The seductive, woodsy aroma and complex flavors of tea and cherry are true to the variety. With a medium body that doesn't overwhelm, it offers a firmly tannic and lively texture plus a long finish. Very little oak comes through, yet the grapes themselves offer great complexity. || The Mendocino Ridge appellation, which is defined by elevation boundaries, borders Anderson Valley.
