This is a Merlot-dominated blend, partnered with 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Black cherry, cedar and spice notes emerge from the glass, followed by some leafy cassis flavors and a reprise of black cherry. It's medium to full in body, and shows a bit of youthful chunkiness, which should resolve sometime after 2015.
