One sniff is all it takes to announce that this was barrel fermented; wood, toast and spicy white-fruit aromas are draped all over the bouquet. This feels round and healthy, with modest flavors of resin, salt, apple and nectarine. Saline stays present on the finish, which is fresh but resiny in flavor.
