Rarely does one come across a new-release Argentinean red with this much age (it was bottled in 2008). Aromas of turned earth, sautéed mushroom, tomato and herbs are like a fine spaghetti sauce. In the mouth, this is firm and tannic, with lasting balance. Flavors of coffee, cinnamon, dry raspberry and spiced plum finish with persistence.
