This is a top-tier Washington Sangiovese, the tannins thick and textural, the strawberry fruit threaded with tobacco, the acids juicy and fresh. While you might wish for an alcohol reading a bit lower than the 15.9% that is listed, honesty is its own reward, and clearly this was not watered back.
