A quirky, crazy mix of black plum, acorns, fresh-cut grass and a little pickle-barrel on the nose, but it settles down into something quite nice on the palate. Tannins are soft; no-nonsense plum fruit has undertones of brown-red clay. Finishes with a burst of mocha, coffee and eucalyptus.
