This is dry and velvety in texture, with rich, complex flavors of cherries, licorice, bacon, Dr. Pepper and savory, peppery spices. A touch of oak adds a sweet smokiness. Almost as light as a Pinot Noir, it's a very pretty, polished Syrah to drink now.
