The overriding character of this basic Rioja is raisiny, ripe berry fruit; it's on the nose, palate and finish. Alongside these notes are mild tannins, some rubbery weight and chunky friendliness. || Damp and mossy on the nose, this has a leafy berry aroma that lacks brightness. It feels narrow and sharp, with limited flavors of red fruit. The finish is tart and empty.
